Learning Years – 2011 to 2014
Gallery 1 includes pottery made during my Learning Years, 2011 through 2014. I spent these years learning how to make basic shapes, such as cylinders, bowl, cups, and pots with lids. I did not spend much time exploring the world of glazes. Most of the glazes I\that used during this period were under-glazes, covered with a clear over-glaze finish.
The pots represents the beginning of my potter journey. Therefore, it is important to journal these pieces, so I can always reflect and remember how far I have come on my Pottery Journey.
