I have divided the galleries into Learning Years, Growing Years and Decorative Pottery.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"http:\/\/santosanto.net\/Pottery\/gallery\/gallery-1\/\">GALLERY 1<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Gallery 1<\/strong> includes pottery made during my <strong>Learning Years<\/strong>, 2011 through 2014. I spend these years learning how to make basic shapes, such as cylinders, bowl, cups, and pots with lids. During these years, my skill of throwing pottery had improved enough so I could throw just about anything I desired. I started to spend more time learning about glaze and glazing techniques. I learned that glazing was an immense part of making pottery. Yet, the most important part is the ability to throw pots full of life and vitality. This type of pottery is referred to as hand-built. I am planning to learn more about the world of hand-building and create some clay pieces that can not thrown on a wheel. There are only a few pieces in the gallery.
